Poll Results..and Several Dillemas

Ok, now that I'm back from vacation (which went very well, by the way), I can announce the poll results:
---------------------------
Vice President:
Daniel: 50% (5 votes)
Other: 50% (5 votes)
---------------------------
Historian/Archiver:
Maniac: 22% (2 votes)
Other: 78% (7 votes)
---------------------------
Artist:
Aerocast: 100% (9 votes)
Other: 0% (0 votes)
---------------------------
Ok, we have a bit of a dillema here. We have never had a tie in an election poll before, so therefore, we had never made a real amendment to the Constitution regarding ties in an election poll, mainly for re-elections. What we had all just kind of...said before was that the current Napper President would decide, but now I'm thinking that it doesn't seem all that...fair now. Ben already voted, and it wouldn't seem right to have just one Napper be the deciding vote. But if that seems right, then we should keep it that way. I will put up a poll regarding that issue, so the Vice President re-election will be on hold temporarily until we decide on that issue.

Also, Maniac has been voted out of office for the position of Historian/Archiver, as I belive he intended. When I had thought up the rules for the re-elections, I didn't think too much about if a person was voted out of that position. So now we reach our second dillema...who will take the place of Historian/Archiver? Maniac had said that he could be the official Napper "Maniac," or something along those lines, and I suppose that is okay for now. We don't really need a poll for that. Pretty much everyone already has a position, and Historian/Archiver is, in reality, probably the most important job of the Nappers, aside from the President, of course. In case you didn't know, the Historian/Archiver saves every post and comment onto a Word document, which they then save on their computer. It's a big job, and ordinarily, I'd be willing to do it myself, but I'm already the Napper Recorder.

This brings up the issue of whether or not Nappers should have TWO positions. The next polls would be for Recorder and HTML Administrator. Now, we all remember when these positions first went up on polls, and how I wanted to do both, but couldn't. Since that last election, I've been the one doing ALL of the HTML work, not Zappy! Therefore, should HE really be the HTML Administrator? If I am that, then who will be the Recorder? It's a vicious cycle which is now out of control.

The only solution to these problems that I can think of is for the Nappers who currently don't have a position to take up one of the free positions. Right now, only the Historian/Archiver post is up for grabs, so if anyone who doesn't have a position already wants to take up this great responsibility, then speak now or forever hold your peace. If not, then...well...I don't know. Thus, I will put up two new polls: one for what the tiebreaker for the Vice President poll should be, and if we should allow a Napper to have two positions instead of just one. Until these issues are resolved, we will not have any more re-elections. Then we will move on to the issue of Recorder and HTML Administrator later.

Hopefully I didn't cause a brain leakage among you all. But I will sum it up briefly for those of you who stared at your computer screen blankly for the past minute:
  1. There is a tie for Vice President, and we need to resolve how we can break the tie.
  2. We need a Napper who does not have a position to take up the position of Historian/Archiver.
  3. Should we allow a Napper to have two positions? If not, then what should we do about the issue concerning the HTML Administrator and Recorder?

I REALLY am in desperate need of suggestions, because I cannot solve this immense problem alone!!!!!!!!

First of all, there's no such thing as "too much." We're doing very well with these sorts of things, if I do say so myself. Except with the re-elections, which we will hopefully be solving soon.

Now, the Historian/Archiver, like I said before, saves every post and comment on the Blog onto their computer, so that in the unlikely event that the Blog gets shut down or deleted for some reason, I could create a second Blog, and contact the Historian/Archiver to put down some of the past posts and comments that may be important in the new Blog. Also, it is a reference to things that someone might deny, if it somehow can't be found in the Blog's Archives.

The Recorder is the one who records all of the polls, and posts probably the most news (which I confess to not doing that often).

Hope that answers that question! :)
