Being a nerd ( Part two of the sermon)

Now on to the second part of this sermon. How many nerds are at your school now? I have noticed very little at mine. I do not know about you, but the nerd population seems to be decreasing. I have one theory that may help us to find out why nerds are a dying breed. I think nerds are vanishing, because of society. In school how many times have you been offered tips on your clothes? I have not so I seriously do not know. ( The only reason I have not, is because I go to a private school with a uniform, so how could I know.) Society and television are shaping us into people we do not want to be. Then there is the pride issue. Some nerds stumble into the well of pride and suddenly become too cool for their own friends and dump them out in the cold. Do you know how much being "in" actually counts. None, Niche, Nien! If you let it matter than it will, but do not. We must fight it and keep the flame alive. Pride stops you from wearing what you like, it kills you from the inside out. Pride does harm, because when you build too much up and someone breaks it you feel like nothing. Have no pride. Lose yourself and your cool. It is the only way to find true happiness. Keep the flame alive. Do not fall into the well of pride, and vanquish the flame. It is important that you stay with your true friends, because in their eyes you are accepted as a friend, but if you are friends with cool kids. Do not feel shame. It is good to expand your horizons. What I am working toward is a land where people can interact with one another. The first step is to lose your self and your pride to find what you really are. That way you can spread that to cool people and they will then take your advice and then people all around the world will unite and put aside their barriers of pride. This is why I insist that you follow these steps. So we can be friends with who we choose and not feel judged.

Being a nerd (geek friek You get the idea)

Do you know why there are nerds in this world? Do you know why they do not die out? I will tell you why in this unformal essay. ( if it was formal I would not address "you") Nerds around the world have discovered the secret luxury to being a nerd. Do we have to listen to society on what we wear? No, I think not. We as nerds can where what we choose one hundred percent of the time. Also, what we do is our choice and we do not have to keep up with the latest games just to worry about being "in". We do not even care about that malarky. There is one downfall to being a nerd however. This is judgement. If we do not overcome the oppressors how will we continue to thrive in the land of nerdiness. As Eli Wisel would say right about now. Neutrality will only help the oppressor. We must effectively and without violence stand up for what is right. I suggest we get past judgement. You see, I have already done this to a certain extent. We have it made if only we were to get past judgement. For some of us, however this is not an option. Therefore, they are doomed unless they unbound the shackles of neutrality and tame the wild judgement hand through the use of words. (any other way would just be immoral) If we were to act unrationably and with violence where would that take us but on a merry-go-round? Violence only helps the oppressor. The good news is out of all of this though is that if nerds wait for the glory days in the job world, we will be on top of the cool guys. They will be our workers and we will be their bosses. But, do not let this go to your heads. For violence can only help the oppressor. In the job world you must set aside your pain and struggles you went through being tormented over and over again by the oppressor. Do not become the oppressor in the real world. Peace and words will solve this problem if you could only lose yourself to find yourself. Forget who you are and rember who you are not. That is to say shed that skin of lies and judgement and become you!
