Hit Counter on 2000!!!

Wow, this whole time while I was posting the Constitution and changing the HTML of the Blog, I just realized that the hit counter already went over 2000! As I type this, it's on 2002. So, congratulations to all the members of the Blog, who helped us reach this milestone with your care, support, and posting because you had nothing better to do on your Saturday afternoons. Thanks for that! :)

Come on, 3000! We're waiting for you....

The Official Napper Constitution

Amendment 1: The Napper tests for people in the three Centerville middle schools are the handshake and the ABC's. The handshake and ABC's test MUST be given by a current Napper or, preferably, veteran. Any person who wishes to be a Napper that is NOT in the Centerville area must go to the Joining the Nappers section of the Blog, and answer those questions. Ben, the current Napper President will make the final call for those people. (3/13/06)

Amendment 2: To pass any new law, or to impeach a current Napper, on a poll that Redberry will provide, there must be the approval of over half of the Nappers voting on the poll. If there is a tie, the current Napper President will make the final call. (3/13/06)

Amendment 3: Popular kids CAN become Nappers. (3/25/06)

Amendment 4: If the majority of the Nappers feel that someone is not fufilling thier duties efficiently, there will be a poll concerning the replacement of that person for that job. If the majority of the Nappers vote against the Napper in question, then anybody who wants to run for that position may run. That poll will then decide the new occupier of that position. (edited on 1/14/07)

Amendment 5: In the event of a tie in an election or re-election poll which consists of only two candidates or options, the current Napper President has the power to make the final decision. (9/26/06)

Poll Results

It's been 7 days since I put up the two polls, and I said that I would post the results. Here are the results for the poll about whether or not popular kids should be Nappers:

Yes- 80% (4 votes)
No- 20% (1 vote)

I decided to not vote on this one, because I really couldn't decide myself. Also, Ben voted yes, so we can now add this to the Constitution. As of this moment, popular kids CAN be Nappers. Before I give the next results, I would like to talk about the whole Yes and No votes for the president only. Now, as you could probably have guessed, that section is for the current Napper President only, who is Ben, right now. That is only him. But I've been thinking, and maybe we should change that, and NOT have a president-only section of the poll, because what if the majority votes yes, but Ben votes no? Then what? Until we decide, I'll take that section of the poll off. But still keep this in mind in case I change it back.

Okay, next poll results, for what we should do about the popularity situation:

Fight back and become the new popular kids: 0% (0 votes)
Stoop to their level and become popular like them: 33% (1 vote)
Don't change a thing: 67% (2 votes)

So, it looks like for now, at least, we won't be changing a thing. I'm going to now put up a post that IS the Napper Constitution. I'm adding it to the links section of the Blog, next to Joining the Nappers, Our Favorite Links, and Contact Us. But it has to be a post first, so don't treat it as a post; treat it as a section of the Blog. I will post that momentarily...

Daniel's Finally Joined the Blog!!!

I just wanted to announce that Daniel has finally joined the Napper News after many, many months of anticipation, thanks to yours truly, Redberry. I'm currently typing this post on his slow computer. Daniel, you shouldn't be complaining, because your computer is probably HALF as slow as the crappy computer I was forced to use when the battery in my current computer died.

Oh well. Just thought you would all like to know. Too bad you couldn't be here with us, Ensay and Chrono Trigger....

New Napper Holiday

I think that the Nappers should have a new holiday. No, it's not just so we can act goofy (sorry Ben) it's so we can come back together as Nappers. There has been a lot of strife this month, and I think we all need to forget about those and move on. A good way to do that is through celebration. You know! If we celebrate, and join together as one, then we'll start to forget for one day. Sure one day doesn't seem like a lot, but it really is. It can help us with our relationships towards eachother. You know how the pilgrims had a hard time when they first got hear? Well when they CELEBRATED, they learned a lot of values. So, one day is all I'm asking for.
Pweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssse.
